Our Story

Vivicreate® Tortilla Press was born out of both passion and frustration. Our founders bonded over their shared Mexican heritage and love of authentic homemade tortillas. But the tedious process of pressing tortillas by hand every time they wanted fresh tortillas was draining the joy from their treasured culinary traditions.

There had to be a better way to replicate homemade flavor and texture without so much manual labor. But sadly, the flimsy plastic tortilla presses on the market simply didn’t cut it compared to genuine hand-pressed tortillas.

So our founders combined their engineering and design expertise to create a solution – a cast iron lever press that distributed even pressure for flawless tortillas in seconds. No more struggling with roller pins or subpar plastic presses. Finally, a tortilla press up to the standards of authentic Mexican cuisine!
